About Dr. Martin

Dr. David E. Martin graduated from Baylor University and attended Southwestern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas. He did his internship and residency in general surgery at Methodist Hospital Center in Dallas, attended the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, for his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and attended Akron Children's Medical Center in Akron, Ohio, for a fellowship in pediatric plastic surgery.

Dr. Martin is board certified by the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and has been in private practice in Dallas since 1989.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dallas County Medical Society and the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Martin was listed among the top plastic surgeons in the Dallas/Fort Worth area by "D" Magazine.

Since 1990, Dr. Martin has focused his practice on Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Martin regularly attends the latest conferences and workshops in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, and often lectures on various topics in Plastic Surgery. He is also involved with Interplast, an international group of plastic surgeons, and periodically travels to foreign countries for the care of patients in need of plastic and reconstructive surgery and for the training of local plastic surgeons.

Dr. Martin and his wife Penny are actively involved in the Dallas community and have two daughters.
